I’m totally charmed by this tiny apartment, located in Melbourne, Australia.

The owners are a young couple awaiting their first child who wanted to redevelop their 800-square foot apartment to make it more functional and create space for the new-born. The architect Clare Cousins was able to create a warm and functional apartment. She has successfully arranged two rooms using plywood and sliding doors for privacy and give more space to entrance of the apartment. What wowed me the most is the brightness, the light shades of the pine wood floor and the use of plywood. I love the idea of the shelves, not only for its convenience but mainly for the accents of the salmon color that mixes very well with shades of natural wood. Take a look at the bathroom, you will enjoy the mix of the brass accessories with the white tiles which gives a very urban chic look.

I hope these pictures will please you as much as they did to me.
